In 2013, Clean Energy Trust and partners Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), Environmental Law and Policy Center, and the National Resources Defense Council commissioned a survey of clean energy jobs in Illinois. The results showed that nearly 97,000 workers support clean energy in the state. This year, the group conducted the study again to measure progress. Illinois is now home to 104,449 clean energy jobs, which is more than the accounting and real estate industries combined.
