Explanation of data being collected

  • Data gathered between August 2, 2006 and September 11, 2007 is currently available (405 days)
  • Speeds are recorded on 2 sensors on opposite sides of the tower for each height
  • Speeds are displayed in mph as 10 minute averages
  • The database can be queried to display specific ranges of velocity and wind direction
